John Berger's Picasso portrait
Started re-reading Berger's The Success and Failure of Picasso. I have always admired Berger's resistantly analytical approach to art. I was thinking that this re-reading would make me feel odd because i would find the text that once i admired so deeply old-fashioned and over-political in terms of criticism. Yet i am quite enjoying it and actually it made me draw out his letters to Katya Berger Andreadakis on Tiziano from the library and take a closer look to his drawings there... Well, it is still snowing outside -it has been snowing non-stop for the last four days- and i am the happiest of all those stuck in their homes hoping that the weather will get better soon. Hooray for Berger and Picasso!
